I wonder if he is rethinking the caliber of his weapon.
I find it hard to believe it was a 9mm, more like a 32 or possibly a 22, based on the recoil.

That explains how they were able to get away.
Nice piece to scare people with, or make them bleed out hours later, but unless you hit vital areas, a 380 just doesn't have it.
Nice back up piece, but a 38 sp, 357, 45 etc would be my first choice over a 380.
Don't get me wrong, they are a nice piece with little recoil, but if I'm going to pull the trigger, I want to make sure I break bones in the most severe fashion possible.
I wonder if he will rethink what he packs in the future?

That was my original comment, in that there is little recoil and for a man his age, that's a good thing.
But the fact that he hit both of them can't be over looked, most people in his situation, would surely have missed.
It takes practice to fire under such circumstances and in all truth, he did a damned fine job.

I'm reminded of that scene in The Shootist, where Ron Howard and The Duke are target shooting bottles. Wayne hits (I think) 8 and Howard hits 7.

This prompts Howard to say, "I hit almost as many as you did. I'm almost as good a shot as you."

To which The Duke replies, "The bottles weren't shooting back!".

I wonder if Obama will put out a statement saying that if he had a son, he would look a lot like those punks who got their asses handed to them?

Maybe he will wait until they get out of the hospital...
