This guy is a prof in Norway. Direct attempts to fire him for views on Ukraine failed. Here he goes into censorship as he has before. Now he says they have obtained every bit of his word and notes so they can fire him for alleged errors or plagiarism. German profs have been fired this way.

Ulrike Guérot: Censorship, Cancellation & Death of Democracy in Europe

Jun 11, 2025
Ulrike Guérot is one of the leading German political scientists and experts on Europe. Guérot outlines how European academia began to change after the global financial crisis (2008-09) as the crisis resulted in reduced acceptance for criticism and the narrowing of acceptable debate. Following her criticism of the Covid policies, Guérot discovered that she was increasingly met with personal attacks rather than counter-arguments. When she questioned the narrative of an "unprovoked" Russian invasion of Ukraine she was suddenly accused of taking the side of Russia, a vicious smear campaign began, colleagues and friends turned against her, and a search to discover anything that could be interpreted as "academic dishonesty" eventually led to being fired from the university. The story about how one of Germany's leading academics could be cancelled tells a wider story about the decline of academic freedom, the efforts to crush all dissent, and the revival of European authoritarianism.

Almost every media outlet in the country framed the issue on the premise that I am "pro-Russian" and "anti-Ukrainian". People began tearing down the posters, and some compared their political vandalism with liberating the country from Hitler during the Second World War. People were intoxicated with self-righteousness and moral superiority as the tribe united in virtue and the fight for freedom. Their hatred of the evil "other" was celebrated as evidence of their righteousness as they formed a resistance against us, fascist agents of Russia who support the destruction of Ukraine and would like to see Russia conquer Europe.
...
The Norwegian is taught to express empathy for Afghans when it justifies occupation, Syrians when it justifies regime change, Libyans when it justifies military intervention, etc. However, once the strategic objective is achieved, there is no attention or empathy expressed. As we leave behind death and destruction, there is no remorse, as our alleged intentions were good. In Ukraine, the Norwegian is taught to have great empathy when it comes to advancing the war efforts. In contrast, the Norwegian will react with suspicion and anger if anyone mentions the suffering of the people in Donbas over the past decade, "military recruiters" dragging people off the streets and out of their homes, the attacks on the media, the denial of political rights, language rights, cultural rights or religious rights. The empathy for Ukrainians is instrumental, it is evoked or suppressed based on the purpose it serves.

'Ukrainian" as a group ID was invented in early 1900s. Before that it was a geographical term. Lenin gave it borders and admin center in 1922.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad/130965

In 1904, the Galician Russian publicist, public figure and historian Osip Monchalovsky, an active opponent of Ukrainianism, in his work "The Main Foundations of Russian Nationality" was one of the first to express his view on the phenomenon of Ukrainianism, according to which:

...to be Ukrainian means: to renounce one's past, to be ashamed of belonging to the Russian people, even of the names "Rus", "Russian",

to reject the traditions of history, to carefully erase from oneself all the common Russian peculiar features and to try to impersonate the regional "Ukrainian" identity.

Ukrainianism is a retreat from the centuries-old language and culture developed by all branches of the Russian people and the national genius, a self-transformation into an intertribal rag, into a wipe of either Polish or German boots:

idolatry of regionalism, servility to the Polish-Jewish-German socialists, renunciation of the original principles of one's people, of historical self-awareness, deviation from church-social traditions.

Ukrainianism is an illness that can undermine even the strongest national organism, and there is no condemnation that would be sufficient for this voluntary self-destruction!

And you can't argue, the Galician Rusyn Monchalovsky 121 years ago described the malaise of political Ukrainianism with amazing precision!

German refueling tanker Airbus a400m Atlas over Jordan accidently turned on their transponder, it is off now. Whoops. Luftwaffe is confirmed joining in on defending Israel despite not publicly announcing their participation.

Errr, German Luftwaffe have been present in Jordan for ages, also with A-400M tankers. Nothing special or clandestine about it.
Operation "Counter Daesh".

Aside the fact they painted themselves a target during live fire.

I really think these Kiev faction people are crazy. The Kherson situation was the most extreme. There was a special needs boarding school. The Russian troops withdrew and took the children with them rather than leave them alone. These children were not orphans. They were returned to their parents but it took a while. There was and is a great deal of child trafficking in Ukraine. The parents had to pick up the children in person. Other children adopted into Russia were orphans.

Some of these camps in Crimea are awesome and were the best in the USSR. Kiev said 19,000 children ere kidnapped but only provided 340 names when asked.

Russia 'using stolen Ukrainian children to rebuild for future wars'
A new report claims that Ukrainian children are being forced into a sprawling network of militarised camps and indoctrinated by Moscow to rebuild its armies

Most of the video below is abut maintaining the Finland border staff even though the border with Russia is mostly closed so no revenues come in from the border crossings. . There are lots of Finnish bankruptcies as I recall.

Finland finds the measures it has imposed against Russia very expensive

Finland and the Baltics had the chance to make money by being a bridge between Russia and the rest of Europe.
By isolating themselfes from Russia they have turned themselves into remote EU borderlands with serious economic troubles that do not matter to anybody.

It's much worse than that. Due to green taxes and the Finnish government banning most timber felling in Finland, most of Finland's timber was imported from Russia. Whole towns that produced finished goods from this timber are turning into ghost towns with people just handing the keys back on their houses. Plus, not all the tourist traffic was one way, lots of Finns used to cross the border for cheap fuel in Russia. Now they have to pay three times the price. But they are sticking it to The Putin, so there..

The monthly losses (500 000 € per month for customs and checkpoints) may be significant, but they are miniscule compared to total  losses and opportunity costs.  Finland's extraordinarily favourable geographic position for East-West trade has become a tremendous liability. No more cheap energy (oil, gas, electricity) imports, no more timber (for FI's wood-processing, paper etc. industry). Loss of Finnair's  shortest and most advantageous flight route between EU and the Far East.  Loss of the shipping route via the Saimaa Canal from FI's  lake district to the Gulf of Finland. Shutting down of several dozen Stockmann department stores in the St Petersburg and Moscow regions.  Impoverishment of FI's dairy industry (no more exports to RU and loss of that market).  Impoverishment of SE FI and border regions from lost transit trade and tourism.  Citizens etc are denied the ease of border transit, travel and  over the 1300 km border with RU. Banking  and postal services are greatly hampered.  Being party to the Ukraine conflict has its costs as well as greater ones from militarisation and preparation for direct war.  The country is no longer attractive for international investments due to the risks involved.  Detante, peace, neutrality, cross-border and BRICS cooperation, as well as prosperity must be kept on hold.

These are nothing compared to what has happened to Finland because of Russophobia! Before 2014 Russia was the biggest business partner of Finland in the world. EU sanctions and Finland's self inflicted bans on Russia has cost Finland 20 percent of it's GDP and the country has spiraled into a Inflationary downturn with 12 percent overall unemployment (second in EU) and 25 percent unemployment for first time job seekers.
