Okay, it's not really completely certain that Trump will be the nominee,
but if he is, who would be a good pick for VP?
And would that affect your support/non-support of the ticket?

Trump will pick a RINO.
It will not effect my WRITE IN FOR CRUZ. He can pic his VP if and when he becomes the nominee. As I know it will not be a Dem.
He and Bernie have the most in common, so yeah, the socialist is probably the best fit, considering Mussolini is dead.
I would say he is going to pick the best of the best  like all the other picks but we have seen how that works out. Maybe he could pick a dead jackass, but then how would we tell them apart.

One has skin that looks like Cheetos, the other one doesn't.
Regardless of who he selects, I'm not voting for the clown. He might pick Palin.
He should pick Ted Cruz.....But he won't coz he is a stupid Lib. If he did pick Ted then I would vote for him, not in support of Trump but in Support of Cruz who would be clever enough to run the presidency while Trump acts the fool.

Must be those damn low flow toilets the govt forced us to use, just flush twice, a third time if necessary...
Theres really only 4 options here...
1) No one. Trump claims he always consults with himself on the biggest matters, so no need for a VP - for the first time since Chester Arthur.
2) Don Jr....cause whats more exciting than a Trump/Trump ticket???
3) Charles Ichan. Trump practically orgasms every time he says his name, so why not make him VP...?
4) Trumps Bitch AKA Krispy Kreme Christie
There's probably only 3 Chump could choose that would make me give it some thought about voting for him. #1 Ted Cruz #2 Condoleezza Rice And #3 Rand Paul.

I had some thoughts on the subject when I made the original post,
but I held them back so that others could speak first without my influence.
I suspect that The Donald and TrustTed have made a deal.
I have no way to be sure. I'm waiting for the convention.
Newt Gingrich has been suggested. New York / Georgia has balance.
Chris Christie has been suggested. New York / New Jersey?
Christie attracts very few voters The Donald doesn't already attract.
One name you probably haven't heard is Mary Fallin, Governor of Oklahoma.
That could work. If anyone has any info on Mrs. Fallin, I'd like to see it.
Picking Bernie Sanders would guarantee the winning ticket. Donald & Bernie have so much in common, bigger government, higher taxes, more social programs - they have much in common.

Sadly true, and the Dim party heads would explode, while the GOP'e could finally embrace their socialist core.
They may give the appearance of holding up one hand that says stop, while the other hand is motioning 'bring on an oppressive govt.'

Ya know what's sad? I'll bet they've already discussed the possibility. Hell, that's like discussing whether or not to turn in a cousin because you know for a fact that they're a serial killer. There's nothing to discuss.
Just acknowledging the fact should set off warning bells that there's a serious lapse in judgement along with a severe lack of moral discernment.
Why is it even a possibility? Because we have what amounts to the 70s Dim party in the GOP.
Trump has been courting the Sanders support - he'd crush Hillary without a single Conservative vote.
Mitch McCon-man would be doing back flips and cart wheels! We finally got a POTUS we can fully embrace, without "coming out as Tax & Spend Libs". Yippie! It's pay day for Socialism!

Donald Trump he's ready to tax the rich more, but lower corporate taxes. Now just where in the hell does he think the rich will get the money from. Can you say the CONSUMER, they will just pass it on in the price. Like always the working people will pay for it.

It will be telling what happens with the tax write-offs for re-investments and business expenses.
Will the "Businessman Trump" shine through, or not... If he gives the business environment a big wet kiss, oh boy, are the Libs gonna go crazy (but, my 401K might really soar).
Who cares about a Trump VP, when there's a ton of money to be made...? Trump is by far, the best outsider/insider choice for Elitism and wealthy investors. It's no wonder the Beltway folks like him so much after a private meeting - everyone comes out smiling!? The perfect Republican who thinks and acts like a Democrat.

It doesn't matter. VP's only count during campaigns. They're the attack dogs. They do the dirty work that the candidate is supposedly above. Well Trump is both. He does and says the things he isn't supposed to say and gets away with it.

I am available to attack either party for any reason. That salary SHOULD matter, for what little use they are put to if nobody dies or has to go apologize.

Newt would be too easy to parody as the Grinch. Besides, he's the guy who lost his seat in Congress to Cooter from the Dukes of Hazard tv series. He lost to Cooter!
If Trump really wanted my vote, he would promise to nominate Ted Cruz to the United States Supreme Court. Outside of that, Trump will pick someone that will urinate the conservatives off. I heard he's been calling his own staff members stupid.
He don't want to be president. Trump wants to wreck the Republican Party for good.

Constitutionalists and strict constructionists have wanted to move away from the Republican Party for many years. Republicans have been socialist lite for most of their existence.
At one level it's entertaining when you watch them implode, but the fact remains: Hillary Clinton can forever screw this country up in one term and I'm pretty well convinced that Trump wants to assist her and / or put some of the wheels in motion with the support of those who are on the right.

Well, apparently, at least according to Newsmax, Sessions seems to be Trumps preferable choice. If this report is true, Im a little surprised Fig Newton isnt at the top of Trumps list, or even Krispy Kreme Christie.
QuoteWith less than a month to go before the Republican National Convention that will make Donald Trump's nomination for president official, sources close to the billionaire candidate told Newsmax Wednesday that his top choice, at the moment, as his vice presidential running mate is Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama. Requesting anonymity, the sources told us that Trump feels personally comfortable with swashbuckling conservative Sessions, 69, who was the first member of the Senate to endorse his candidacy and who frequently speaks with him.
The square Sessions seems to fit many square holes for Trump: he's conservative and nails down the party's right flank, he endorsed Trump early and has been extremely loyal, he has Washington legislative experience — a key requirement — and importantly, he can be totally trusted never to criticize Trump no matter what he might say in the coming months.

Newt Gingrich joined Chris Wallace on Fox News to talk about Donald Trump's VP selection process.
When asked if he was being vetted to be Donald Trump's running mate on the Republican ticket Sunday,
Newt Gingrich said that Trump wouldn't even think about making his decision
until two days before the party's convention next month.
"I think Donald Trump does not want to make a decision until the convention,"
Gingrich said. "I think that he is a very decisive person
and in case of a few of us—I'm an example. There's not much vetting to do.
I mean, you guys have been all over me for a decade."
