I'm no expert and neither am I the smartest in the room (obviously), but my amateur analysis is: 
So far, the impeachment testimony has been a major bust for Democrats and has helped @realDonaldTrump.
Also, I assume few minds have been changed.

So what if Trump indicated that the Biden thing was important vis a vis Ukraine... so what to everything the Dims brought up..

The USA always does quid pro quo deals when giving aid to another country. Does anyone think we give $$ to other countries for nothing? not hardly. There is always a quid for a quo.

It was totally apropos for Trump to want to clear up corruption in Ukraine. The dims are just ticked because said corruption involved ONE OF THEM..
