I can't believe that George Kent keeps talking about Trump going against foreign policy when the President (Bush, Obama, Trump...) are foreign policy. The State Dept. works for the President and follows through with his foreign policy.

Do to the threat of Adam Schiff and the fact that Pelosi has his back, the Republicans can't ask for the Whitleblower's name.  However, without naming him as the Whistleblower they certainly could ask these witnesses about their interaction with Eric Ciaramella.   This will set the stage for Ciamella eventually having to testify, even if he hasn't been officially named as the Whistleblower.
