The polls open in less than 7 hours across the east coast of America, and people head to their precincts to cast their votes. Update the thread throughout the day and track the votes as they start to come in.

In the all important state of Ohio, Rasmussen has it tied, though Romney internal polls say he is up by 1%. Either way, Ohio will come down to turnout. If Republicans are energized and turn in big numbers, we will win, and if not then Barry gets another 4 years. Virginia is also down to the wire, though I think Romney will take it.

Wisconsin is tied, and Romney's internal polls show Pennsylvania is tied. Again, it's all about turnout. Go out and vote.

Skepticism, like chastity, should not be relinquished too readily.

First two polls opened in New Hampshire at midnight. It's on...

I voted early, but since I am from Millinocket, Maine, not from Chicago...I'll only be voting once! Can't wait to follow the new President's path to victory on The Blaze, Fox, and here! Anywhere else and my brain will blow up! Enjoy the show...Freedom is EXCITING to watch!!! And, I still have faith in Americans to fix thier mistakes better than any other people on Earth.

I waive a happy goodbye to Jimmy Carter's second term...Bye-bye, now!      :ttoung:                :ttoung:

Polling stations in Tampa, FL are packed. My local one was pretty busy, and if yard signs are a good indicator, at least 70% are going for Romney.

It's also raining here and throughout the state, so that could affect things.

In parts of my state it rains 300 days out of the year.  No big effect for us.

My brother in Florida is standing in line right now,,,he says it will be about an hour before he gets to vote. Me I will go after I work out,,, its right at the time where people are taking their kids to school......
Meanwhile Obama is in Chicago right now......hopefully my wish will come true. He may be seeing his house is getting ready to move back into...... well after his basketball game

The fact that Obama feels the need to be campaigning in his home town says a lot.

I watched a little Today show on NBC this morning. They still think Obama has it.

The rain could keep the more apathetic Obama supporters home...

I see it this way, your wife lied, cheated, stole your money and ate your dog, the divorce will be finalized today.
She calls you on the phone asking to be bailed out, you pause for a moment and ponder the moment, then look outside and see it's raining.

That's it, the moment you get lucid and realize you aren't responsible for her behavior, and in fact, realize you actually hate her and realize how her every move was a complete lie and how she put you in debt.

After reading Valerie Jarrett's threats, in another 4 years, that wouldn't be possible.  Now we just have to trust the American People to get it right this time and pray that the idiots aren't motivated this time.

Nate Silver has Obama's chances of reelection above 90% now.

Which is why the idea that undecideds will suddenly break for Obama makes no sense.

Exactly CL!
These people were promised the world by a con-artist, even though they fell in love, they've also gotten nothing from the relationship but an empty wallet with promises that the next four years will somehow be different.

No one is that gullible unless they like seeing their friends abused and want it to continue.
