Of the 233 Republicans, 51 are  members of the Tea Party Caucus, give or take a few The other 182 are what I will call Establishment Republicans.

Irregardless.......what do you think the chances are that the Republican Party will nominate a candidate that does not represent the establishment?

We gained 51 seats in 4 years. That's pretty damn good.

Why do I sense a disconnect from reality here?
In 2010 we took more than 700 Legislative seats across the Nation, and that's when TEA was in it's infancy.
Are you not paying attention?

A lot has happened since 2010....most important of all the miserable failure of the Tea Partiers to stop the republican mainstsream from going with Romney.  That speaks volumes and I see nothing to convince me it will not happen again...

The bottom line is simply this--the Big Wig East Coast Politically Correct Republicans had rather see the White House won again by the democrats than to see a True Conservative get in there.

Do not forget what happened in Virgina:     https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.ijreview.com/2013/11/92490-gop-gives-virginia-democrats-instead-giving-tea-party-social-conservatives-win/&sa=U&ei=XQxDU_KPMtfLsQTIpIHIBg&ved=0CAYQFjAA&client=internal-uds-cse&usg=AFQjCNHhlhz9E9n8z6fA-6-

Tea Partiers are living in a fantasy world....they seem not to understand that war has been declared upon them by the establishment.....you see it demonstrated all too clearly on this board...a group isolates themselves(they either ban or bury on the back pages anyone who tries to enlighten them) slap each other on the back and pretend they will win next time....essentially unwilling to do what they need to do aka....have a convention, elect a leader, put out a platform and begin a massive grass roots organizing campaign....and essentially tell the Republican party they will not accept another establishment/politically correct candidate.

The problem being with the above I suppose is that Tea Partiers are so confused and disorganized they cannot agree to do that.

Most of them (at least the ones on here)appear not to understand even why romney lost...and definitely have no clue as to what is needed next time to defeat the democrats.

I am suprised I have not been banned already....I suppose they had rather go the underhanded route and move me to the back pages...heh heh

Like they think they are fooling anyone into believing they do not engage in censorship....the word is out on this board...either kowtow to those who run it or get banned ....so go ahead boys....ban me now....save youselves from the truth and more embarassment...cuz I gurantee you assholes I do not pull my punches and kowtow to no one.  Got Dat?  Deal wid it chumps.

Do you have any clue as to how many party's already exist?
Thew plan is to steal the party from the socialists.
The GOP never has been a Conservative party, it's time for change. But we get your drift, you want to see the vote split.
Not at all, but, if the GOP wants to remain a haven for liberals pretending to be that which they are not. Like for example Boehner, then I have to admit I would much rather see another party to choose from.

And yes while there are thousands of "parties" technically. Lets face it we all know that one of two are going to win the majority, and or the Whitehouse.

Either the GOP or the Dimocrap party.

That's a bi-cameral system, not a republic. And not what was intended for our nation either when it was founded btw but I digress.

So yes solar, while it may split the vote, and it may in the short term cost an election or two.

I think you have to admit we as a nation, as things are today, if they continue business as usual, would be better off in the long run, simply getting rid of the GOP as a viable political party. Replacing it with one which actually does take such things as the Constitution and doing their job seriously.

Of course, we could avoid all that, or any need for that quite easily, if we as a people instituted term limits.

Get rid of lifelong never did nothing politicians and return Washington to what it was intended to be, and wow how far and big a step it would be to fixing our republic.
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

May you get passage out of the old village safely, and when you settle, may you fall into the outhouse just as a regiment of Ukrainians is finishing a prune stew and twelve barrels of beer.
