And.......if they did--could they hope for any success?

Personally, I do not think they will--I do not think the Tea Partiers are up for that....way too mired in their loyalty to the Republican Party come hell or high water.  I hope I am wrong on this but unfortunately I do not think so.

But even if they did, would there be any hope for their candidate?

Nah.  We're fine.

Will you still be fine if Jeb Bush, Romney(yes he is thinking about it) rubio or any of the other establishment candidates gets the nod?

Do you have any clue as to how many party's already exist?
Thew plan is to steal the party from the socialists.
The GOP never has been a Conservative party, it's time for change. But we get your drift, you want to see the vote split.

We will see more and more of this from the Dem's. (Left)  Flinging poo just to see if anything will stick.

First of all I don't think you read the link--anyhow--what I want is a Repubilicn Candidate that can win.  None of the establishment candidates are capable of that.

The tea party unfortunately does not appear to me to be motivated enough, even if for istance Jeb Bush gets the nod, to do anything but sit back and hope for the best like they did with romney.

I thought it was getting a little stinky in here.

The above is a good example of the confusion that exists in the Tea Party and precisely why I doubt they are capable of accomplishing what needs to be accomplished.

Unfortunately, they are content to stay on the sidelines and try and lobby the Republican Party to become more conservative---a losing battle.  The mainstream republican won out last time and I think they will again.

There is a civil war going on in the Republican Party but too many tea partiers want to make like all is well and that stream of thought is obvious on this board.  People like Karl Rove and Mitch Mconnell are playing hard ball but too many Tea Partiers are stuck on playing soft ball.

Why would I want to split from my party?  The RINOs and libs can go join the Democrat party.  They're in more of a civil war than the Republicans are.

If they are on the sidelines how do you explain the Tea Party caucus in the House?

Why do I sense a disconnect from reality here?
In 2010 we took more than 700 Legislative seats across the Nation, and that's when TEA was in it's infancy.
Are you not paying attention?

Your analysis is extremely flawed.....anyhow.....of course no republican wants to split from his party.

Yet and unfortunately if the mainstreamers remain in control  and thus will be able to select the next candidate....that could very well mean the end of the Republican Party...I do not think they can survive another defeat.

http://www.politico.com//blogs/media/2013/01/the-gop-civil-war-is-just-beginning-153545.html

But more important than any party is the future of the country...we have barely survived Obama....well actually we haven't yet...but if we do survive 3 more years of obama we will be in a much weaker position than we already are in....thus it is vitally important that the next President is a true conservative---if the democrats are able to put another 'disaster' is the oval office I do not think America...at least as we know it...will be able to endure.

Yet, the Tea Party the only group that has any potential to stop the approaching Republican Train Wreck aka the selection of another pc/liberal/moderate presidential candidate seems to not to be concerned enough about the approaching tragedy to really do what needs to be done.

Of the 233 Republicans, 51 are  members of the Tea Party Caucus, give or take a few The other 182 are what I will call Establishment Republicans.

Irregardless.......what do you think the chances are that the Republican Party will nominate a candidate that does not represent the establishment?
