They're way over-priced, their performance sucks especially in any but the best of conditions - not too hilly, cold or hot - and the claim of environmental nobility is dubious but that doesn't impede the Obama administration's desire to spend even more money on electric cars. What is the old saying.  " A fool and his money are soon parted"
A politician thinks of the next election. A statesman, of the next generation.- James Freeman Clarke

Always remember "Feelings Aren't Facts."

;D That last sentence was job-protection, an obligatory GOP slam about "magical thinking" to get the piece printed at all. That said, it's nice to see the Moonbat Gazette finally start making noises resembling common sense. My God, has Ben Bradlee's Watergate Wolves newsroom-generation finally retired? Can it beeeeeee?

Solar

It's not electric, but this is the result of Gov interference in the energy mkt.
Let us buy what we want, not what you think we should drive.

You got that right...who the hell is going to pay 40k for an electric chevy
I drove a prius didnt flip my switch...to me its an overpriced economy sedan...

They do not save you any money..unless you drive them tons of miles per year..and anyone that has to drive that much isnt going to do it in an electric car that doesnt have the distance capabilities and you cant just plug it in everywhere you go...electric cars will never be mainstream as they are right now
