I am no friend of LGBTQUERTY. I cannot think of a political angle to this.

As a kid I liked Sousa marches. Later on I really liked drum and bugle corps but now not the  modern ones
i like things done well and the troops in the army parade were very sloppy. They could have at least tried to look good.
I liked the Old Guard who were in the parade because they do things well.

Here are real army 1944 mostly in step marching through Paris. They were fresh from battle and heading for more I believe. They weren't some parade unit. They marched through Paris to scare the local communists. Compare these to those in the recent army parade.

I like the USMC drum and bugle corps. Very nice. Truman Crawford came from drum and bugle corps and set the standards for the USMC corps for maybe 30 years. They put in effort to look good.
