Musk is a Private contractor, the Government hires them all the time for various functions. In this case an audit. Private contractors working for the Govt are PERFECTLY Legal and these idiots know it. I would also question if MUSK is charging the Govt for his services or was contracted for the sum of $1. Methinks Musk is doing this gratis and paying his subordinates out of his vast fortune or through one of his many companies. In other words He is doing it for free, just like Trump who defers his official Salary as POTUS.
