This entire bill (and this thread)is focused on taking those self governing special privileges away from Disney. The state should have done that long ago, as it is in their legal power, and in the better interest of Floridians.

Here  is  something  interesting. Nikki Haley comes  out  and  says you  give  her  money and she stays  bought and  paid  for. Its an odd  line of attack to say the  least  to rip DeSantis  for taking  disney  donations and then doing what  is right. Ron is  not  bought and  paid for. Thats a good thing.

A frequent criticism you hear about DeSantis relates to 'associations' or those who're financially supporting his candidacy.  And while this is a healthy &  wise speculation' to practice, too often it devolves into an  automatic 'guilt-by-association' political tactic.  Records and deeds should always be the gold standard when electing a leader into office.  And if that proves true here in this primary,  it would bode very well for DeSantis.

From what I've seen in DeSantis thus far, he has run his campaign just as I anticipated he would. IMO, he proving to be a stark contrast to Trump in almost every way where it really counts as a leader - substance. And, IMO, this will only become more evident as time moves on.

Why does he want to hide his donations?

Good question. But if it's problematic for you, I can only suggest you find out 'those in the know' and share it with all of us in a thread.

There is only one reason to hide where the money is coming from, voters you are counting on would not approve. Personally, I want to see how much DeSantis is receiving from China, from Soros, from planned parenthood, do you?

Then you sir are a part of the problem not the solution. We need our politicians to be above board and transparent. By the time the election rolls around we will have put up with democrats running this country for four yeas with pressure on them to do what China wants. We have D.A's who take their orders from Soros, we do not need money for campaigns coming in with NO accountability.

There is only one reason this does not bother you, you are a liberal just like you have been called out several times. Laws for accountability are on the books FOR A REASON! You and DeSantis are the only ones who have no problem changing that. What if your guy does not get the nomination? Are you willing to give whoever is running that same blanket to cover up their money?

Should Biden be allowed to accept as much money as he can from China without anyone knowing?? Or do you think DeSantis should have his own rules to play by all to himself. Seems to work for the democrats.

Come-on, lets hear your answers, bring something to the table, for once.

I've found my "solution" in DeSantis. So whatever "problem" your referring to is entirely your own to solve. Good luck with that.

And again, you can not answer the questions. Here is a real simple one, does the American public have a right to know where/who a politician receives his campaign donations from. I bet you will not answer. Maybe Zen and Ibud can help you out.

Here's another, the Biden's have received millions from China, do you think that money has influenced him negatively, and would it had been better for America to kept the money quite?

One more, why does THIS politician feel HIS donations need to be hidden from your view?

Bring something to the table, call your buddies get their input, get help, and maybe you will be able to answer these questions EVERYONE else knows the answer to.

He knows the truth, he knows it's all bad, but to admit it is to admit he was played just like the left has always played their stupid base.
He's in love with the dream, and he refuses to have his heart broken again.
