Now you are moving the goalposts. No one is saying no one can speak their own opinions of kanyes opinions.  But you are trying to get kanye canceled and for everyone to shut off his voice and label him a nut.
Do you see how taking a part in cancel culture is the opposite of holding to the principle of free speech?

I fully support Kanye's right to say whatever he wants.  I would have a HUGE issue if the government tried to stop him, or anyone else, from saying whatever he wants.

There's a fine line between cancel culture and doing things that ruin your career.  If Kanye came out in full support of pedophilia, and people quit coming to his concerts and buying his albums, is that cancel culture or is it simply not supporting someone with abhorrent views?

Thats the free market, so long as each person is making that decision on their own and not part of some smear campaign like the left is trying to do to kanye. Once lies and concerted ideological attacks become part of it it ceases to be the free market speaking.
Its one thing for individual people to choose to ignore him, its another thing entirely for big business to bow to activists' social pressures.

But kanye losing supporters is not whats happening. We are seeing his popularity grow. The only people complaining are the anti trumpers for some reason. I guess they are desperate.
