I have been on this forum for at least 10 years and my conservative credentials have been established. I am also a realist and until we outnumber the establishment we have to work with them. I am encouraged by the slim margin in the House. McCarthy, or whoever is speaker, needs the conservatives and we get a voice. I am disappointed it seems the "Freedom Caucus" has lost some of its energy. This began when Mark Meadows became Trumps chief of staff. Let's get the gavel and then go to work.

The only reason we lose anything, is not because the conservative message failed, it's due to the power of the left in the party.
We cannot compromise. Our own short history has proven, time and time again, compromise only weakens our side!

We need to fight like our lives depend on it, because they do! We've come way to far to settle.

I agree with you for the most part, but McCarthy was weak and spineless in the thin minority.  He sure as hell isn't going to turn into a lion in the thin majority.  I do, however, think he'd be somewhat effective with that "motion to vacate" vote.  Also, there is no need to reach across the isle nowadays.  It isn't the old days, as they completely run over us when they have an inch of power.  We need to ram conservative legislation and policies up their asses, and be the funding check to the rouge agencies.

We agree. I am not for reaching across the aisle to democrats. McCarthy is not my choice, but he may be a temporary fix.

I think we all know what you mean, and wish it could be that way. But these RINO scum always promised us things, only to turn around and stab us in the back.
