As mad as I am about this decision, or rather this non decision, it does look as the SC is showing the correct way the case needs to be filed. I take it that the SC wants all the t's crossed and the i's dotted before proceeding.

That's the impression I'm getting as well. I'd rather the court follow the Constitution than set precedent as a Conservative court that bends the law.
We're still a Republic after all.

Not quite.  Only on Jan. 6 are the electoral college votes tabulated by a joint session of House/Senate.  At that point if one Senator and one Representative object to one state's slate of electors, then there is a debate on accepting or rejecting that state's slate.  So if enough states electors, via this debating & voting are rejected or replaced by a Trump slate, then in the latter case Trump is reelected.  In the former case then the contingent election process goes back to the House where R state delegations are 27 and Dem states are 22 or so - thus Trump is reelected.

But the bigger question is the Right's too much reliance on the judicial system.  As long as the USA culture is pervaded by hostile & indifferent residents (citizens or not) who do not vote & do not care about civic awareness and are blissfully ignorant of what it takes to keep a Republic, we will continue to slide toward a totalitarian state.

I've talked with a couple of people now and they have repeatedly told me that there is no point in voting anymore. They expressed that the liberals are going to forge, discredit, disallow or fraudulently make ballots up any way they like. One person expressed to me that he didn't trust government before but, now he really knows that government is corrupted to the point that only the Lord's return will correct it. These folks stated that what is considered "law" is really only applied to Conservatives rather than Democrats. It was difficult listening to them and what's more, I really had no argument for their logic.

I hope you are not buying into that. It is what the left desires and it admits defeat. Disagree with those folks and tell them it is important to fight.

Their system of cheating will fall apart. Can't wait for the 2024 democratic primaries, joe is not going to run, the party hates harris, the nation will not vote for her, so the primaries should be wide open, right? But, not if the party that cheats has to cheat on its own to get the chosen one elected. I guess another way to look at it, every democrat from now on will either be a socialist, or the dnc will have to cheat to keep them from winning a primary. It works in a third world country, but we are not there yet.

I cannot say that my vote will matter in ANY election after this. No matter how many millions of votes a conservative candidate gets, the liberals will just manufacture enough to push them over the top so that they "win" the election. Even if 80 Million people vote for a Republican candidate, the left will use whatever means it feels is "necessary" to swing the vote to their candidate. In the end the liberal media will "proclaim" that the Democrat candidate "won" regardless of how fraudulent and concocted the voting is. Any claims of fraud will be summarily dismissed as we are seeing today.

When people talked about revolution, I was never with that because we always had the vote.
Now that they learned how much they can get away with and the support the system gives them, I'm not seeing any other alternative.  Still hoping for a miracle and hoping there are enough good people to kill this Chinese revolution
