The House will impeach because they have the votes. The Senate will not because they don't have the votes. The democrats know this. They also know there really is nothing impeachable. What else do they know? The 2020 democrat field is less appealing than Herpes. They have two front runners. The old white fake Indian who will destroy the economy and bankrupt the nation and the creepy old pretend white moderate who gropes everyone and never knows what state he is in.Trump will destroy them. Their only hope is to damage Trump by hanging an impeachment albatross around his neck. Outside the fringe of the base no one cares. if Bloomberg gets in the circular firing squad will be complete and they will destroy each other.
They will succeed in permanently tarnishing Trump's presidency but he will be reelected and the voters will remember what they did.

imo, extortion is a more accurate description of what was happening on that phone call. quid pro quo is a favor for a favor.  The Ukrainians didn't grant the favor and eventually we released the aid.

I think as a whole the country may be numb/dumb on the idea of a quid pro quo. Lindsey Graham flat out said that DT is too dumb to actually commit that crime.

I've been at this internet thing for a few years now. I could google a bunch of articles and such, but you'd just do the same to counter me.

There's no point in you and I going back and forth. The Congress is doing whatever investigation and hearings they're doing for this case. Let them present it to us. After all of it is out we can debate on the ruling.
