Communists took away our land in 1905 and killed almost every single person in our village, it never improved after this. You may assume that every Russian must of'course be a communist but you are wrong and judging by your media, US has a lot more communists than all the former Soviet republics combined.

My reason for not voting for Putin: I never FELT like our elections were honest, which they never were, I never voted in my elections.
I tried once but saw something that should never happen in democratic elections. So I left.

I believe your electoral process is democratic. When your elections ended and Trump won, many were not happy and blamed my country for the result, except that millions of US citizens did not actually vote, some voted for a chimp called Harambe.

I know that even Gorbachev came here and started something called the "Green Cross" just another name for the communist movement. But it's true, we tried to purge the commie threat in the 50s, only to wind up with them taking over the Dem party 50 years later.

Your country loved Gorbachev but for us, he was a terrible leader, we did not understand why the West admired him so much. I know that Americans think that Gorbachev is the one who broke up Soviet Union but the fall didn't depend on just any one person.
Soviet Union was never financially sustainable, this is really the main reason. Free market is ideal for financial health, which we did not have.

You do know, that's the dictionary description of communism. right?
Communism is all about the classless society, 99% of the country is the poor and oppressed, while the elite reaps the benefits of oppression of the masses.

Thanks for letting me post here, I really enjoy the conversations here. I don' know if I'm the only foreigner here but I also don't want to intrude.
I'm posting a lot right now because my ribs are badly injured due to an accident in my Kozak fencing class in the Ukrainian church I'm part of, I can't move very much right now, hopefully will feel better in a few days and post less, most probably :)
