I dunno but this whole "evolving" thing sounds like something leftist jerks would say....like "I grew into a new head". Or maybing "I'm PROGRESSING"...shudder.

This is so obvious what Trump did. He faked conservative as much as possible during the early voting of the southern states which are more conservative. He did it well enough and conned enough people to win every southern state. Now that it's time for the stretch of liberal northern states, suddenly Trump is "evolving" (letting his true colors show) into have more moderate stances which are of greater appeal to the more moderate and liberal people of the north east, giving Trump an increased chance of having more sizable wins to pick up as many delegates as possible.

I've been a poster on another "conservative" site for 16 years. I finally left that site today when I realized that I might as well be posting on DU, with the responses and attacks I was getting from "conservative" posters. I hate to sound dramatic, but it's like the devil has a hold on these people and has deceived them to a degree that you just can't get through to them with any logic or reason at all when it comes to Trump.  They can justify any thing he says and act like you are crazy for not understanding what he really meant. I'm happy here with people who haven't sold out their principles for a YUUGE Wall!

Welcome Lil lamb!  I too along with quite a few others are refugees from a forum that has a name very similar to this one which also "turned" over the last 8 months or so.

Yep...I prolly know you by another name. Feel the same way...definitely fighting a losing battle with a lot of people I used to respect a lot. Sad state of affairs now...conservatism has been tossed aside for Trumpism.

Fishman is having the same problems, on his other board he is posting on. 

I think he is one of  3 against a full "conservative" board for Trump.  It does not help that there Admin is pushing Trump all the way, almost every day.

I want to be clear that I don't think Trump is the devil. I hate when people demonize an opponent. I don't see any reason to do that.  I'm just really bummed out because I felt like our time had finally arrived with Cruz and I'm just dumbfounded that these posters I have admired for so many years seem to have lost their everlovin minds. I keep telling myself I'm in the majority, I'm in the majority. Lol.

Fishman, it's possible we are from the same board. It's been really hard for me to leave, but the responses I got today, ugh.  I can't spend my time having people posting ugly replies to everything I post. You don't have to agree with me just be civil and don't patronize me, you know? I swear I now have my own personal trolls following me around just waiting to post something ugly to me in every thread. I was crying when I knew I was signing out for the last time today. I feel like this was an ugly divorce and they got to keep the house!
