No, I've asked myself this question every couple of weeks, and every time I do, the idea of a Hillary over a Trump gets easier to swallow.
However, with that said, it's never going to happen, Trump will not be the next POTUS, and focusing on a socialist in the GOP is not going to help elect Cruz.

The GOP is Hell bent on keeping Cruz away from the WH, they've written the rules in such a way that allows them to pick the candidate of their choosing, but if we all resolve here and now that we'll write in Cruz, the GOP will lose, and TEA will seize the party.

As to Rush, he thinks Trump is on the right, so he sees this as a blackeye for prolifers, when in truth, the only ones that think that are libs.

I pointed out immediately that what Trump did by claiming "some Republicans and Conservatives believe women should be punished", that he was full of shit, and as Bronx pointed out, it was so blatantly ignoratnt, one would think Trump was a leftist plant to make us look evil.

I happened to catch parts of Rush's show, and noticed that many callers were first timers and surprized to get through, one even said he was shocked that after 20 years it actually rang.
But the last call was the most revealing, most of the callers had hung up out of disgust for Rush gushing Trump nonsense, and Snerdly was left handing over a total loser out of desperation, and Rush blew her off to the trash.
People are getting sick of Trump in spades, and I'm willing to bet come Monday, Rush will take on Hillary and Bernie as a distraction.

I think those that took up the Trump torch early on are seriously regretting they ever heard his name.

Rush is an entertainer, he gets paid for getting people to listen to commercials, the more people who listen to the commercials, the more he gets paid. He does not get paid for getting out the message. I have enjoyed listening to his show for many years going back to when he was on t.v., but always took him with a grain of salt. If this trump backing continues, he will have one less listener.  me.

I'd venture to guess he's lost nearly half his audience already, people are pissed.

I think the argument is quite weak if one says abortion is only punishable by the doctor when the argument for and against has solely to do with the woman. Some prolife people don't think there should be a punishment for women who get abortions but I think some do think there should be a punishment too and it's not an outlandish thought if abortion is murder then the one who murders which is what the woman does should receive the consequences. You can't have it both ways. And I think it's funny so many do want to have it both ways. It makes the movement look bad. And not concise or clear. I'm personally for either but acting like what he said is out of left field makes me not understand what life are you really fighting for?

That was trump being political correct, of course him being NOT political correct is one of the main reasons I hear that people like about him but it's about time those who like him see him as we do. As far the punishment, it would depend if "getting" an abortion or "performing" an abortion would be illegal. Yea I know that is really splitting hairs,(can't have one without the other) but we are talking politicians who were the first hairsplitters.
