"There has to be some form of punishment," Trump said. "For the woman?" Matthews asked. "Yeah," Trump said, nodding.

Trump said the punishment would "have to be determined."

Not at this time. This was apparently said during a town hall that Trump is currently taping with Chris Matthews that will air tonight.

Along with the above tweet that I posted, Shepard Smith also reported it on FOX just a few moments ago.

First Trump says to Tim Russert that he is "very pro choice in every aspect" to now saying women deserve punishment for an abortion.

I dont think Ive ever seen anyone in politics go from one extreme side of the spectrum to the other extreme side of the spectrum with any issue the way Trump has claimed to have done. At least not as far as I can remember right now.

I can see some people having a change of heart over time, but Trump seems to change his opinions from day to day, even contradicting himself in the same interview.  He makes my head spin.

To leave it hanging as the punishment must be determined is a real negative for Trump. As a disclaimer I try to stay away from the abortion issue as it is a very emotional issue, however, I will venture into this a little.

I am personally opposed to abortion except in the case of rape or incest. However, as it stands today it is a legal medical procedure. I believe the judgement will come between God and the individual.

Trump has now gone on record as to punishing a person for a perfectly legal procedure. That will go nowhere and he is just pandering to a certain constituency. It is nothing more than his endless babbling to try and gain support. I hope all his inconsistencies and babbles are catching up with him.

He has no good opinions because he can change them all of the time.When questioned over and over again he refused to answer what the punishment would be for having a abortion.I bet he doesn't care cause he can always send a woman to Switzerland or some other liberal place.
