A couple of points though:

If you sit in the tree too long the neighbors get concerned and call the cops so you end up in the municipal building anyway.

Make sure you are wearing pants when in the tree. Otherwise it is rather embarrassing explaining to the surgeon how you got tree bark embedded in your posterior.

Make sure there are no angry squirrels in the tree. They can ruin the moment in an instant. And they bite.

Make sure the tree is healthy. I once was in a tree with my significant other and it was really romantic...until I noticed the tree surgeon on another branch staring at us. Apparently the tree had Whooping Cough.

Congratulations!  Great way to end the year and start a new one!!

Congratulations on your marriage.  I hope you will be as happy together as my late husband and I were.  And that was very happy indeed.

I am and it does not help me.   

Just now read over this announcement and i'm very pleased to hear of this.  May you both have every blessing from your commitment to each other.  I suspect that the commitment was there from the start.  A New Year to be celebrated in the future more ways than one.
