mg as for immigrants I agree completely. Shut ALL immigration down, until and unless those seeking entrance can actually be vetted first.

But that's not dealing with the entire issue. Not all of these individuals are immigrants. For example our prison systems are full up with your typical natural born citizen, muslim converts. What do we do with them? Kick Jameel and Larry out of the nation they were born in?

There's lots of everyday American citizen's who are converts. What does Trump suggest we do with them? Lock them up ala FDR?

While I understand folks are angry, and scared. (A real dangerous combination for people to be making decisions in) I don't think that's a precedent we want being repeated or set. Because while it may be the Japanese then, or Muslims today. Nothing says it won't be Christians tomorrow, or Jews the day after that. 

Btw, whether Trump's a Hitler or a Carter, neither one is exactly a shining endorsement for Trump.

I remember this.....There were hundreds and hundreds of Iranian "students" in the Wash DC area who always seemed to show up and protest the Shah, I also remember the thousands of "Students" who ran amok when the Shah came to meet Jimmy carter, they went totally berserk, we threw about a hundred tear gas grenades at them and used "wood" to dispurse them but they still managed to KILL a "pro Shah" demonstrator and injured about a hundred people, about thirty of whom were cops.

After that, Immigration began working with us side by side at these protests and just hauled them off by the car load. That was under Jimmy "the human rights advocate" Carter during the hostage crisis.

When Reagan was President we had what we called "the pay back" Immigration set up a Prisoner Bus, borrowed from the US MArhsal service on the Mall, during one big protest (after the Shah had been given asylum" they went nuts again, this time we scooped them up in wholesale lots, took them to the prisoner processing station set up on the mall and they were driven directly to Washington National airport and put on a plane, bang zoom, done.

Something else, AMERICANS nation wide cheered this action you didn't here any of the sympathy or empathy you hear today, people were really angry at Iranians specifically because of the hostages, but mostly because they were harming Americans, smashing window to stores setting fires etc to businesses during their "protests".

Also I say "students" from the arrest we made and the intel briefing after FBI interviews, these people were specifically trained in how to fight thr police and lie about their identity confusing Immigration etc.
