This development could change the dynamics of world powers.  It is a highway to geo-political influence in the middle east.

As much as I dislike it, this is why we have foreign aid.
The Chinese are taking our lead in developing relationships abroad. This is not a good development.

You are right... it is not a good development.

Just another hole in Obama's foreign policy (non existent) which begs to be exploited.

The whole world is on alert to take advantage of a derailed superpower.

As dire as things may be now, I believe there is still a vacuum out there. A solid in person in the WH and beneficial coalitions can be put together again rather quickly. Most nations do not desire a "shotgun wedding" with Russia or China.

Oh, I totally agree with that!

Ted Cruz could turn things around in a NY minute!

Good. Then the Chinese can worry about those crazy f**ks in the Middle East. We have enough oil for ourselves and our allies.

Trust me, the damage done in the last 6+ years can not be turned around in a NY minute.

I suspect his Inaugural Address would "set the record straight" on foreign policy under Cruz!

He will extend his arms to embrace our allies and give the new perimeters to our enemies.  He will give notice to all who would challenge his foreign policy!

Literally overnight, we will reclaim our place in the world.

The Chinese communist have had enough problem with the Wiegars (Chinese Muslims).  Opening up a Jihadi Expressway, may cause result in unintended consequences.  The commies and the Muscum are competing for total subjegation of everyone under their sphere of influence.  They may use one another  for temporary means to achieve their own ends, however they are not ultimately going to get along any better than Russia does with it's Muslim Minority.  When totalitarianism meets would be totalitarianism of a very different mindset, although their brutality may look alike, they won't get along any better than Stalin and Hitler's non-aggression pact!  The Red Chinese are opening up a very big can of worms! While the western goverments try appeasement, these brutal states are going to collide (hopefully before we do) with the growing movement for a wold wide Caliphate.

Excellent point Wally!

You are absolutely right about unintended consequences!

But the Chinese cannot resist the opportunity to be considered a World Power!  Gotta stick their nose into everything.  Who will stop them?  .......

that can of worms may turn into a real big can of whup ass!

Bibi said.. "the enemy of my enemy ...is still my enemy"!  The Russians dealt with the Chechnian Terrorists who attack their school kids in a manner that more resembled how Gen. Pershing dealt with the Muscum Terrorists in the Phillipines (Moros) and Winston Churchil dealt with Obama's Granddaddy and his Mau Mau Terrorist buddies!  The fact is, we in the west have become far to timid and far too civilized!  I'm not saying we ought to be more like the Reds (in China and Russia) but they sure the hell are not going to pussy foot around when their party people start getting their heads cut off!  After all, they ain't Christians and don't turn the other cheek!
