Ah, so you admit it was biased at the git-go, which had to come out AFTER you posted it. So that means you posted in bad faith by that omission, and are therefore fair game for my remarks in this thread. Argue that one, cupcake.

I tagged you as a shill your first night here and you comfortably proved my thesis and then some in your pathetic efforts to find ANY old GOPer that Hillary could beat in '16. You may as well have a neon sign over your head.

Palin's omission alone shows you as the liar you now admit to be.

Well-done, kid. Your opinion hereafter is worthless.

I have neither the time, the patience, nor the inclination, to exert the effort required to dignify such condescending and baseless accusations with a response, except to say this: If you think I'm shilling/trolling, you don't know what shilling/trolling is.

I picked Walker too. I like Paul and would vote for Paul, but I think all things being equal it's better to pick a proven govenor. Just my two cents.
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

I'm in agreement. If I could combine Scott Walker and Rand Paul, and put them in John Thune's body, I'd have my perfect GOP candidate.

I voted for Cruz, but I kinda wish I had chosen Walker.

Walker's accomplishments in WI make him awfully viable. The dems would be hard pressed to run against what he has done in the state.

Do you think he'd stand a chance at turning Wisconsin red in 2016?

Based on what he has done, YES. He beat the unions and all their money and influence on the recall. Since then he has managed a surplus of $1B and cut taxes. It is hard to argue with success.

Once he hits front runner status, however, the left will do it's best to assasinate his character with truth, lies or insinuations. ONe thing you can count on is the leftists in the press attacking the very humanity of any public figure who dares to hold an opinion different from their own.

The press in this nation is a cancer. And their malignancy has spread to every part of our society. Unless something is done too, I fear for the well being of the patient.

That is to be expected regardless of who the candidate is. With someone like Walker they will be against him from the get go. We won't have to endure the fake adulation McCain and Romney got until they were the actual candidate. Our responsibility to fire back.

What amazes me is that the one candidate I believe to be the exemplary true conservative who also has the grit and backbone to fight his opponent  seems to get next to no support from anyone in this forum.  I just do not understand why this is the case.   I speak of RICK PERRY. What does the conservatives ...let alone the GOP have against this man?

Three reasons:

1) DISASTROUSLY BAD 2012 campaign because of pitiful debate performance.
2) Texas governor with folksy attitude. People are superficial and go too much off of appearance, and Perry reminds a lot of people of Dubya.
3) I can't remember the 3rd one. Oops.

I honestly think that, had Romney wanted to have a chance of winning Wisconsin, Scott Walker should have been his running mate. Paul Ryan turned out to do absolutely nothing to help the ticket win his home state.

Romney/Ryan lost Wisconsin by 6.94%.... I think Romney/Walker could have cut that in half easily. Romney/Walker with an actual competent campaign that knows how to read basic polls COULD have flipped it narrowly.

Perry isn't TEA. When he endorses the principles of TEA, then we'll talk.
