Translation: A new commie will take his place.

No link, it really isn't all that news worthy. UNLESS! Trump returns after the Midterms for next year.
Yep, still believe this BS will be overturned.

Nailed it! Biden will nominate a pure leftist and she will be confirmed. It will be another nail in the democrat coffin as the nominee will be exposed in confirmation hearings although it will not matter concerning confirmation.

It really changes nothing and confirms further the importance of Trump having the opportunity to nominate three justices.

There is a ray of hope...

We had assumed that Breyer would follow in the footsteps of the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, whose extreme vanity—not to mention her racist ideology—compelled her to remain on the Court rather than allow a black president (Barack Obama) to nominate her successor. We had hoped that Breyer's own hubris might forestall his retirement—or, more likely, his death—until Donald Trump was sworn in for a second term.

We were wrong.

NBC News reported Wednesday that Breyer plans to retire at the end of the Supreme Court's term in June. The announcement means that Breyer has finally caved to the libs, who are understandably pessimistic about the Democratic Party's chances of retaining control of Congress after the 2022 midterms.

President Joe Biden, who has promised to appoint a black woman to the High Court, will now have an opportunity to nominate Breyer's replacement. (Note: He also promised to "shut down" the COVID-19 pandemic.) In order for the nominee to be confirmed, however, Democrats will need the votes of Sens. Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (D., Ariz.), who are less inclined to support a radical lib.

I'm sure that I read in several different places that RBG waited to retire until Hillary "got her turn" in 2017. Something about setting great store in being replaced with someone nominated by the first female president...

If Hogan has a good  chance to win MD then we can control the senate. I  imagine Biden's selection will be quite radical. Im wondering  if he would  nominate a tough on crime  black woman. That would be smart  but  i doubt he  does  it.

Are they trying to open the door for a Hitlary VP slot?

After CNN's recent exposure of the Biden-Harris rift (that Becker News has been reporting for months), the Daily Mail reported there was talk of the White House seeking a Supreme Court seat for Harris to get her out of their hair.

First thing I thought of. If so, Bidens days are numbered. There is one catch, Harris would have to step down before Hillary could be nominated, could they find 51 votes in the senate?

Methinks it is the stuff of armed revolt.

Hillary is walking death, destruction, and disease. It's only the unending efforts of Nancy Pelosi that keep Hillary from becoming the undisputed most hated woman in the nation.

Talk about a rock and a hard place, if Harris goes to the SC and Hillary would get the nod for VP, could she or anybody, get 51 votes in the senate? If not, Joe would have no VP and to be president all Pelosi would have to do is get Joe out of office and its hers. For at least one year. I'm hoping somebody will know, if the speaker of the house gets the presidency, will the new speaker of the house after the midterms take over? You just might have hit it on the armed revolt part.

QuoteBut just because Biden nominates someone and the Democrats have the slimmest of majorities in the Senate right at the moment doesn't mean that the nominee will necessarily make it through. Indeed, she could be blocked. Because of a power-sharing agreement between Sen Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the Judiciary Committee membership, staff and budgets are split in half. So there are equal numbers of Republicans and Democrats on the Committee, 11 each. If the Republicans chose to and they all voted together, they could hang a nominee up in Committee and the nominee would be in limbo, not voted out of Committee.

There is a way to get past that, but there's still a big problem for the Democrats.

A majority of the Senate—51 votes, typically—can then put debate about the issue on the calendar for the next day. But that's the last easy part. When the potential pick comes to the floor again, it's not as a nomination. At that point, it's a motion to discharge, a cloture motion that requires 60 votes. In other words, 10 Republicans would have to resurrect the nomination of someone already blocked in the Judiciary Committee.

I can almost here the screaming now.

Such a lifetime achievement award. Second most hated female on the planet, just barely beating out Maxine Waters..
