Is the US currently blockading Venezuela? Knowing how terrifying and effective Venezuela's Navy is, would we even dare to challenge such a force?

To my knowledge we have a blockade against them, that's why I posed the question. Will Trump do anything?
The reason I ask is, Venezuelans are suffering the Commie flu as well and Trump might view this as a humanitarian effort since it doesn't appear to be an arms shipment, he might let it slide.

Thanks for the welcome!  I was under the impression that Venezuela had lots of oil, is a Bric member, and that was a major factor in why we even bother to care about them. Don't they have refining capabilities, or does their Navy control that too?

They used to refine their own, that was until Chavez stole it, kicked out the people who knew what they were doing.
