The title: Why Hitler didn't trust his generals - is speculation, period.  I've known Hitler Youth - it is impossible to get inside the minds of these people, how they thought, and the economics of pre-WW2 Germany in a 1hr video.

The first time I heard a staunch Hitler supporter say (1970s), "He made the trains run on time, everyone had a job and all that stuff you're told is propaganda."   I realized the wisdom our Government had in filming the forced labor of German citizens, burying of bodies from Concentration Camps - undeniable truth?   I also realized, everyone loves to write their own version of "history."  This Hitler Youth wrote off the videos as "staged", because Germany staged their own videos too!  MacArthur staged marching to shore, Germany staged the scene of opening a gate into Poland...   Now we see, it's being re-written... again.  If there's anything we ought to keep in mind, Propaganda... there's loads of it, in film and print - the further separated by TIME from those events, the less accurate those events are portrayed - and often with the wrong emphasis.

"Why Hitler didn't trust his generals" - Geeze... how many attempts on Hitler's life was there...?  :scared:

Really... post your own material, it's OK to speculate, but this kind of stuff doesn't create any real discussion, unless you're the actual author.
It's OK to have an opinion - right?

---edit---

Why didn't Stalin trust his Generals?  a bigger question than stating the obvious.

I think its  just the  opposite. The  more time  passes the  more perspective there  is. Right  now for instance the  majority  of the  country sees  Fauci as some  kind  of  God. We can hope as time  passes he is seen as the  murderer  he  is. I think you get  more  perspective  by watching all his  videos. He  makes it  clear the  Nazi's were far  left  socialists, not right  wing  capitalists.

Wrong!!! Just like the Jews, they saw the Nazi for what they were, just like the majority today see the Marxist media for what it is, Nazi propaganda.

Nazi logic = "Well... we're not as bad as Marxists, right?  Yeah, those commies, they're the problem, not us Socialists!"
How *do* you like that arsenic served, cold or slightly tepid?   ... sigh!

Perfect example of how history is being diluted, and corrupted in the statement, "Nazi's were far  left  socialists, not right  wing  capitalists."
When - how - why could Capitalism *ever* in a million years be remote associated with Nazism?  Re-writing history, add in a few errors, create a new narrative, and PRESTO, now it's assumed (by idiots), and needs defending, "Nazism was right wing capitalism" ...?  Oh, because they had JOBS or instituted some strict codes of ethics???
Not really - it's anything to cast Capitalism in an unfavorable light and legitimize Socialism-Communism as an alternative.  Propaganda.
