Remember Al'Qaeda was responsible for 9/11. I could care less if these two groups are trying to knock each other off and we do not need to get involved.

Sadly, America's Department of Defense is not staffed with war-winning generals as much as with career desk jockeys, most of whom would have no idea of what to do in a strategic confrontation. They do know, however, where the "mass attack" button is located.
That aside, here is an approach that observers might find interesting. Sadly, again, it seems to be only the observers who have their brains in gear.
