My family plays a few online multiplayer games in order to stay connected across different states.
We prefer crossplay games because while most of them are on consoles, mostly xbox, im on PC using steam and epic games.
For voice chat we use either Discord, or xbox live.
What kind of games were you thinking about?

Did you ever play Portal? It was a spin off of halflife where you had a portal gun that could do cool stuff. Really fun, highly recommend if you liked halflife.

It is the first game Ive ever had that was Crossplay, meaning PC and consoles can play together. So me on my computer can play with any of my brothers or friends who are on xbox or any other console. Mom like to try and play too. It has been a great way for my family to stay in contact across states.

I've been hooked on Borderlands since it came out, so if you haven't played it, download a demo. I loved BL I, has a fantastic storyline and the characters are awesome, but BL 2 is probably the best because they improved the AI and the graphics are excellent.
Start with the first, they are all excellent, you won't regret it, I promise.
I'll download a demo of WWZ and get back to you.

Hands down a mouse and keyboard is superior to any gamepad. Since I have a gamepad hooked up to my computer I was able to try both on WWZ, and can say for sure you are right.

Im not sure about a demo, but here is the main page. From here you can go to buy and for PC it comes either on STEAM or on EPIC game launchers. You can get for either, I have it on epic but most people get it on steam.

Here is the trailer for the original game. AFTERMATH is the update that just came out a couple months ago that added a bunch of cool stuff.

Ok, with the AFTERMATH update they added 1st person mode into the game. Once playing you just go into the options and it is the first option, switch from 3rd person to first person. And you can switch at any time too, which is a nice feature.
In fact, in third person mode you can even switch back and forth between which shoulder you are looking over, if you are right or left handed, and it comes in handy to get a better firing position too.

Yep, this is a game about killing LOTS of zombies, you can easily kill over 2000 in a level.
In fact if you get bored they even have a long list of Mutators you can turn on to spice up your game if you want too. Things like less ammo, or maybe no health kits, or extra zombies, or even no running. Just more choices to add variety.
T Hunt, this game clearly says Person Place Thing and the 3 I posted are NOT video games, but I was told to place the 3 here. I believe more and more some just don't change on forums and what new people want to bring. oh well.... :lol:
A quick edit, my edit function does not work. I joined a group maybe early in 2021 and tried to do some games and a few went along with them and some members just got so rude and disrupted it all I threw in the towel. I'll never go back there. Rude Rude

You have a short time to edit. This is because of leftist trolls getting caught lying, so they'd change what they wrote.
We had to put a time limit on the function.
short time for sure, one has to be sure they say what they want to say and don't forget something. On a couple other groups, time to edit is quite lengthy.

That title would seem to imply a general discussion about interest in any online games. You added the person place thing in later on your post. If unhappy, just make another thread dedicated to the person place thing game. Again, sorry if I derailed what you intended this thread to be.

Yes, some stuff is posted on other groups, I would not bother with thhose. The games that are fun are the ones that can make YOU think and use some brains. Not what did you eat for breakast, what will you have for dinner, etc....child stuff.
