They are fun and I'm on other forums and we have them, members are enjoying them.  Keep the brain sharp and fun too.   Something like this I would "think" would be in this Forum.   Please advise of interest.  I'll start and I do have many to offer.

My family plays a few online multiplayer games in order to stay connected across different states.
We prefer crossplay games because while most of them are on consoles, mostly xbox, im on PC using steam and epic games.
For voice chat we use either Discord, or xbox live. 
What kind of games were you thinking about?

It's an online game, and I play this one in other forums...It's not complicated, Person, Place or Thing.  Forget them all, don't bother with the games, I thought it was a good idea but what do I know.   j

I not sure about borderlands but I know all about wolfenstein, spear of destiny, quake, and especially halflife. What a masterpiece of science fiction. We just dont see games like that made today.

Did you ever play Portal? It was a spin off of halflife where you had a portal gun that could do cool stuff. Really fun, highly recommend if you liked halflife.



The first person shooter I am playing right now is World War Z (WWZ), a zombie shooter. Its based off the movie, not so much the book.
It is the first game Ive ever had that was Crossplay, meaning PC and consoles can play together. So me on my computer can play with any of my brothers or friends who are on xbox or any other console. Mom like to try and play too. It has been a great way for my family to stay in contact across states.

Man, you'll kick ass with a mouse over a game pad or whatever they call those crap controllers.

I've been hooked on Borderlands since it came out, so if you haven't played it, download a demo. I loved BL I, has a fantastic storyline and the characters are awesome, but BL 2 is probably the best because they improved the AI and the graphics are excellent.
Start with the first, they are all excellent, you won't regret it, I promise.

Hands down a mouse and keyboard is superior to any gamepad. Since I have a gamepad hooked up to my computer I was able to try both on WWZ, and can say for sure you are right.

I will have to give borderlands a try...
