I love her style and personality, though her political opinions not so much
But she is better than most liberals, she actually said in an interview that she did not believe in political correctness and that racist jerks should have the freedom to be racist jerks and say racist statements without being imprisoned or having the judicial system coming down upon them, the punishment if any should be social and not legal. Want to add that the liberal interviewer was annoyed and flabbergasted that she did not believe people should be jailed for being racist.
She owes all of her fame to Phil Donahue, whose TV show ended when hers started. She just gained his followers.

Heh. I remember when Phil Donahue was reading the weather forecast on Channel 2 in Dayton Ohio. Seriously. It was WLW-D at the time.
Now THERE's a career start to put you on track to be the moral/political voice of daytime TV.

He got his start in radio, including one station in Michigan (in the same county where his future father-in-law Amos Jacobs, better known as Danny Thomas, was born). I've heard the station. They still do farm reports, which I assure you are FAR more humiliating for a city boy than lying about the weather. It's that horrified deep breath they take between sentences: listening fun for the whole family.
