I know exactly what you mean, that's why I have a tractor and a bull dozer, I HATE shoveling snow.
Did I mention just how much I hate it?

One year I got snowed in, seeing how I was the only one living on my road at the time, I had to shovel 18" of snow for nearly a 1000 feet, Up Freakin Hill!!
I only did that once, being I'm a fast learner......

Did you note, I shoveled up hill? Yeah, fast learner, this one...

I clear everything.  Front and back Sidewalk, deck, patio  truck and car ramp.  It my age I need the exercise as long as it is not over 2" of snow.  I have a new 24" snow thrower that I have not used yet in two years.  Today they said 50% chance of snow.  :woot:  All I got was a 1/2".

My good wife helps me a lot, she tell me if I miss some.  LOL

After a couple of days I will go out and clean the front sidewalk.  Too many yellow snow spots.  Libby doesn't like to go far for her morning pee.

Wait. Wasn't it uphill both ways? And you were barefoot, right? Aren't you going to tell us how you wrapped barbed wire around your feet for traction?  :tounge:

He's modest that way. Besides, after Die Hard, it just wasn't that big a deal about bare bleeding feet.

That takes too long, I just drive nails through my feet, like studs on a snow tire.

Right now I don't have to shovel but when I'm home I have a skid steer so I not only clear everything I need to I also take care of my neighbors.
