Solar has been laughing for the last 10 minutes over this one. Let me start with a disclaimer that I know Solar loves me just the way I am.
Yesterday for work I worn the new pants my daughter convinced me were in style, fuschia pink skinny jeans. Solar said something about the straight leg thing..... What I heard was my butt looked big. After a couple of my co-worker friends commented on them I told them Solar thought my butt looked big....

What she fails to realize is this style is for kids, kids that have no hips, kids that are trying to accentuate the look of having an hour glass figure, something they haven't yet developed because they are children, like padding bras, they just need to wait, it all comes naturally.
Real women don't need this, they have a natural look, a look men prefer. Let the kids have that crap, and women, quit falling for this crap, you guys look good the way you are.
Anyway, as a man I prefer the mature figure of a real woman.
Yeah, I sometimes hear what is not expressly said, especially if it is a touchy subject.
That being said, if you can wear them, and you aren't showing off that which should remain covered, you go right ahead with your skinny jean self. :thumbsup:

I think the main thing is how women hear differently. Like you said if we are already touchy about something ourselves it really doesn't matter what they say - we will take it to mean something else.
Not sure if this fits here, (No pun intended) But, (again no pun) This morning at Walmart somebody (possibly not me) made the observation that if there were no Walmarts, mothers would have no place to wear the spandex their kids gave them for Christmas.

My personal take,(lol) is when I first put the skinny jeans on I was alittle on the "iffy" side. All the usual in my head drama about something like that.... ask Himself,,,and yep I've heard a few things I didnt want to hear that he clearly (didnt) said....lol. Isay if you are looking good and you like em,,,wear em.... they sure do look better then granny jeans,lol
