I say a Mini Cooper or a Beetle...
Hmm...
Now why would God need a car?

I say a Mini Cooper or a Beetle...
I love my Dodge diesel 3500 4x4, but if I couldn't drive that, I'd definitely go for a Rolls, a big ass old Buick, Caddy.
I discovered as I get older, quiet and comfort and room are essential.
Oh and not to ruin your dream car, the new beetle was sadly, designed and marketed to chicks, and probably the stupidest thing any car company could ever do, limit their mkt by alienating men, their primary mkt, probably 80% of sales..
And the Mini? Researched the hell out of it for the step daughter, get rid of it before it hits 70 thousand miles, the repairs are ridiculous.
Both these cars were really attractive to the rally circuit, the Mini still is, but guys are buying them used then pair them with other engines and transmissions.
The Bug lost it's appeal to the aficionado when they took away it's masculine image by neutering it.
With all that said, I liked the look of the new beetle for 2012, but sadly, they killed it's image, one that will take an entire generation to forget.
Think of this with the dim party in mind, they were doing just fine slowly destroying the country with the capitulance (that's a word now ) of the RINO, but screwed up when they exposed themselves to be Marxists by putting one in the WH.
Now the entire country hates them, people are ashamed to call themselves libs, Dims, progressives, and just like VW, it will be an entire generation before they can relabel themselves.
To support my claim about VW, read the subtleties in this article, then read the few comments.

After reading a few articles, I wonder, was this marketing towards women, just a US phenom?
But whatever the target, they've gone with anew. "More power, less flower".
What about an E-Type Jag?

What about an E-Type Jag?
Now even I would enjoy driving one on the Bundesautobahn.
If it's God behind the wheel, we can safely assume He just wants to have a little fun. I nominate the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in candy-apple red. With whitewalls as wide as Michelle Obama's backside and fuzzy dice dangling off the rear-view.
Or, if He wants to go classic on us, a 1935 Duesenberg Meteor Speedster. Bright yellow. Convertible. All kinds of chrome exhausts and big running-lights.
Just don't expect Him to stop at any stoplights....

God would drive my truck, because he'd want the power and room as well as being able to see. he also knows it has absolutely no effect on the climate, which is why he gave us oil.
Personally, I love the old X-KE, quiet, heavy and it would be the nearest thing to driving a wingless jet.
But to really answer the question, God would probably walk.

That about sums it up too. Just saying He might drive though, He would drive whatever He wanted to drive.

The more I think about this, I don't remember God ever driving or walking.

I don't know if God would drive because he always seems to be the co-pilot, but, I think if he had his druthers he would drive the humble Model -T. Why ? because He has a sense of humor and those old model -T's seem to always start with a "Big Bang!"

I remember as a young pup cranking a car to start it. I did not like cranking the tractor, it could kick like a mule.

My father grew up on a farm, and later for nostalgia reasons owned an early-30s Ford tractor with what he said was the first electric starter. (Can't recall the model year.) But his stories about the OLD days with hand-cranks usually ended with, "And then I got up off the ground."

LOL! My dad told me about his dad out in the garage trying to get the old crank going back in the 20s, he had my dad in the driver seat working the throttle, as soon as it started, it backfired and scared the shit out of my dad.
Grand dad was driven right through the wall, dad smacked it in gear with the throttle wide open.
He swears to this day it was already in gear, but his dad reminded him every time he walked with a limp after that.
I had an old Datsun PU back in the early 70s with a bad starter, always backed up on the rail road tracks so I could roll down hill to get to work, did the same to get home.
Did that for a year till I could afford a starter. I was one broke kid back then.

LOL I remember the first time I had to jumpstart an automatic without jumper cables to get it home so I could work on it. Jumper cables I don't leave home with out them now.

You have to have someone pushing you over 35mph and slam it in drive.

It's easier with a manual transmission, which appears to be a distinct minority in modern car options. (An excellent cheap way to ensure your car won't get driven
far after it's stolen.)

I had heard that too, but it never worked for me, maybe it was the older hydramatic trannys it worked on.

Don't remember the year but it was an old Mercury. My uncle who owned a gas station told how to do it. It was funny as he never had time to work on his own car as he was always working on others. The only time he work on his own was when it would not run.
