Title: Track side in Bristol
Post by: Elfie on March 17, 2012, 07:36:20 AM
Been here since Thursday morning.   Most of our friends are here, some had to stay back and deal with insurance company's due to storm damage.  Speaking of storms we've had some whoppers go thru, lol. Night before last they had to evac 2 camp grounds as the storms toppled  more then a few campers on their sides.   It wasnt a pretty one to watch skim.  But it raised the question,,,what would you do if.....
So far I have learned about popcorn sutton's moonshine...   interestin stuff.   No I didnt drink it,,, moonshine kinda scares me,lol.
Lira is on puppy sensory over load, lol. To funny, she is learning.   The track is quiet now, they just shut em down for a while.  Later it will be race time. Fireworks last night just before another storm hit, that was nice...   So we will roll the dice today and see which side of the ridge the storms are tracking,,, and I will watch the skies for the fighters to paint the track. Sometimes they play in the sky over head,,, and of course the copters by the dozens come and go close enough for us to feel the draft........
