OK, I'm just getting over the flu, and of course a regimen of NyQuil, and a myriad of other decongestants, mind altering drugs.
I Hate drugs!!!!
Anyway, for the last 10 days I keep waking to jingles in my head, like just this morning, the Jeopardy tune repeating over and over, yesterday if was Barbie commercial, "We girls can do anything", before that, Plop Plop Fiz Fizzzzzzzzzz...
Right now I'm hearing Up up and away in my beautiful balloon, and no matter what I listen to on the radio, I hear it running in the background.
Three more days and it should all end since this bug is dying, but in the interim, this shit is driving me up the wall. :woot:
LOL...never knew that Nyquil had earworm side effects.
Glad your on the mend.

So I take it you did not get the flu shot. I have never had Nyquil. Now a good shot of brandy always worked for me, before I stopped drinking. The wife had to stop for the meds that she takes, so I stopped also.

The last 4 I've gotten came with severe side effects or complications.
I'm better going without.

I have been blessed, I have only had the flu once in my life and that was after getting that first shot.
I hope you feel better.... Flu is not fun...
I, of course, was blamed for this bout of flu. Although Solar ended up giving it to me so...... this was a first.
I was sick for almost a full week. Mine was not as severe as Solar but it did knock me down for a several days.

Two in the house at the same time is not good...
It wasn't too bad... although no one was really cooking.

Two in the house at the same time is not good...
It was humorous at times though, especially when sneezing in unison, or coughing through a conversation that should have taken ten seconds to complete, wound up taking ten minutes.

My husband and I both came down with the flu on Christmas eve.
Thank goodness everything was done except for Christmas dinner.
Had to send everyone off somewhere else to eat.

That had to be a pretty quiet Christmas.. Solar was sick for about 4 days before it latched on to me.

With two in the house you weren't really MOVING much, either. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Even the old man.

Ya gotta love the homo-sapien experience. Apes in a communal environment, generating
antibodies to battle an alien-like hoard of seasonal raiders, akin to the villagers in The Magnificent Seven.

I think you're supposed to mentally 'sing' or replay the entire song as you remember it in-order to largely nullify the
repeating 'hook'.
Your brain has a 'play-center' where dreams originate. Some of its channels are overbuzzing because of the virus and medication.
