Title: State of the Fox News Line-up
Post by: thehackreport on August 30, 2012, 03:58:06 PM
Hey guys. Any of you Fox News fans? I just wanted to say how much I hate Brett Baier, and kinda hate shep smith too. Brett is terrible though, and just had the worst political panel where he just blabbed liberal talking points and had them retort. He is horrible and asks the dumbest talking point questions.

DOWN WITH BRETT BAIER

Just installed Dish yesterday, but I doubt I'll be watching any of the talking heads, considering I probably know more about what's going on in the world than those script reading idiots do.
Yes, Shep is an idiot, haven't seen Brett yet.

I don't watch "news" channels/shows much anymore, but when I feel like I want to, I turn it to FOX.  I like Megan Kelley and Laura Ingrham, but I don't watch any of them enough to call myself a "fan".

I don't watch it. Far too much babble, and not enough news.

I watch Fox from time to time. Sometimes I'll even watch "The Five", but I'll put it on mute and focus on Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Or Andrea Tantaros
Nah but seriously I watch the five also. It's pretty good entertainment but that's about it

I am a HUGE laura ingraham fan. I am 22 years old now, and have been listening to her since age 12. Her and Sean Hannity are my favorites. Hannity on Fox News is not that great compared to his radio show - he tries to be less partisan on TV and its more of a news show than political commentary like his radio show.

I too love the five, it is the best evening show for sure aside from Orielly and Hannity. I tape it every night and watch it as soon as i get home from work (usually get home as it's ending). I love watching Bob get beat up on, and Andrea and Kimberly are hot and smart.

She definitely is a marvelous asset. Notice, she almost always, when on, sits on the outside where the camera can record every move of those swinging legs.

I used to like OReilly, now not so much.  I have never had the opportunity or inclination to listen to Hannity via radio, because he bugs me on TV, I watched him a few times about, maybe ten years ago and came away with the feeling of "bleeding heart conservative" not saying he is bad, I just don't like him and his sometimes whiney-ness.

I like O'Reilly. I think he's pretty entertaining and usually on-point with his analysis. Sure he is a little full of himself, but he's a good guy. I love Hannity's radio show - it's much, much better than 'Hannity' on Fox News. I do not really like his TV show, but I listen to him every day on 'The Sean Hannity Show.'

I like Hannity. Kinda like having a record that gets stuck on one groove.

They have a place, I just don't listen to any of them anymore, too many times they carry water for the RINO.
Though there is one I do take in, and that is Mark Levin, the one guy that pulls no punches.
Unlike Savage who pretty much hates everyone.

I highly recommend Mark Levin as well.  You can pull down his show as a podcast...

Fox is a little too liberal for me, but I keep it on and bounce between FBN and Fox News.  They are the best of the worst.  MSNBC isn't really a news channel, and CNN is an absolute joke.  Fox only has very few conservatives -- Bolling, Kilmead, Gutfeld.  Shep is a lib, Greta is a lib, O'Reilly is a lib, and the rest I'm not really sure, because they do a good job staying objective, which I am fine with.  Libs see objectiveness as a conservative dominated outlet, but of course it isn't.

Hannity used to drive me crazy, but he has gotten a lot better over the past few years.  I think Levin has gotten through to him on a lot of things, and I can see a huge difference between Hannity today and Hannity 6 or 7 years ago.  He still would slide to the RINO if he had to, and during the Romney administration, he will nail Romney on the obvious stuff, but will probably tap dance around the serious stuff.

I was going to ask about other great conservative radio shows. I am reading a Mark Levin book now, and want to check out his radio show. How are the others like medved and savage etc?

Savage is a trip.  He is wicked quick and sharp, but can go pretty negative.  His ego is a little large, and has a quick temper, but when he goes on a rant, he is pretty fun to listen to.
