Its been fun! Lira has almost got pretty good dog brains, granted she will be 6 months old this month,,,ohhh the joys. she is a character,,, still hasnt grown into her legs yet... hence, still a pup-clutz. But ah-ha we have finally gotten "ring the bell" to go outside. Now she beats the daylights out of the thing showing us,I can do it,lol... Still learning the basics but she is getting better at staying, No, sit that kinda thing. No more night time crate!n yaaay, she does really well all night long now. She doesnt really like milk bones, weird huh, but she doesnt. Nope she LOVES cherrios! Which is really funny if ya think about this 30lb dog gettin all excited over 4 cherrios when she does good. Milk bones she just tosses, forget and hours later she eats those,,,you know at that puppy I'm starving to death moment of their day,,,thats when she eats em... But she is coming along nicely, I do have to take her to be fitted for another harness, she chewed hers. Her harness and my slippers,,the rest of it she doesnt touch. She will be a good girl when she gets her dog brains, but she's done very well in the short months we have had her.
Himself went hunting, he tagged out, nothing spectacular but he tagged out and thats a wonderful thing. All in the freezer now.... Work has been insane! The great grandson has begun to stand on his own and he is well into an army crawl. Wont be long til nothing is safe,lol. Cracks me up. Havent been tot he cabin,,I do believe its tinme to go. I made cookies,,, 28 dozen one weekend, He helped and that cut off 4 hours of work time. then I did another 5 of another kind, made some fudge,,, next is the usual chocolate chips and shortbreads and I have to do 2 apple pies for Christmas, no biggy. My truck got back to me today, it broke... old age they are telling me, replaced the front seals, wheel hub assembly, 4wd stable bar just snapped, cv joints,,, and a slew of little nit picky stuff once he saw he just fixed... But I am back rolling again. This is good as I want to get then Christmas done by Friday. I am highly allergic to mall ratts, I just dont find it fun when the mall ratts get out of school.

Elfie it was so great to read your post...a little late but hey. Sounds like the puppy is a blast. It's like having a little one all over again.
