Personally I do. So I thought I would share it. There are 3 live nests at Catalina Islands. Right now it is the very beginning of watching season. It is interwesting to see the pairs rebuild, hatch and watch the eaglets grow and eventually fly, well fledge.

Just go to interactive cam and then click on which nest, then turn it on....
If this is not the right place for such a thing,,,please move it to the correct spot..... but be warned sometimes these cams are pretty graphic. What you think is dead sometimes isn't but will be, attacks from ravens to the eaglets is not unheard of... then again I've seen the eaglets open up a can of whoop butt to.
It's one of my fav sites. Just thought I would share.
;)
Elfie put me on to them some years back. There also a way of looking at all three cams at once or just one at a time. 8)
yea well now I am mad,,,they are jackin with the cams! Once I figure it out I will report back this is bloody nuts.... Hopefully the cams well 2 of them just went down. It is a teaching place.... sometimes that happens...... grrrrrrrrrrrr.....

A couple of weeks ago as I was going up to the homestead, I was just outside of Colville and just off the road was two eagles were feeding on a road kill deer. I pulled ahead and pulled off the road. I went back to see how close I could get and I was able to get within five feet of them. They just kept feeding and keeping a close eye on me. The one day I didn't have my camera with me

I have a friend that is a falconer, He had caught a female redtail hawk and I was able to hold it on a glove most amazing. It is very interesting how they catch them and the laws governing how one can be a falconer and what they are allowed to catch and train. He showed me a video of his birds first pheasant catch. You start out by seeing this pheasant fly low to the ground then all of sudden you just see this blur then an explosion of feathers.

Now thats a wonderful thing. Always did admire those that can do that. Around here it's 5 grand if you hurt a red tail. I found that out from a friend of ours that raced pigeons. But to hold one,,,holy cow you are a lucky one... I only get to see them at the pow wow at Starved Rock in May. They have a falconer there. Hopefully we will get to Starved Rock lock n dam tbhis year,,the eagles go there for winter. Hundreds n hundreds stay til ice out...thats something to see....
I love this link Elfie. Thank you for sharing it.
We saw eagles perched on poles, while we were at the cottage up at Houghton Lake, Labor day week.
