Title: If Anyone Would Like To Help T-Bone out
Post by: Solar on June 29, 2013, 06:50:09 AM
A few members inquired as to sending a small donation, so I asked T if he was OK with it.
I don't think any of us are ever prepared for such an event.

His Pay Pal account is.

Here are a couple of PM he sent me.

Tom, Dawn died three miles from home, on a sunny afternoon on a road she had driven hundreds of times. It takes my breath every time I even think about it.

I live at **********

The accident was a head-on collision with another vehicle. The other driver was injured, but was released from the hospital yesterday. My Dawn was dead at the scene, but was not officially pronounced dead until the next afternoon. I honestly didn't know a person could go through something so devastatingly painful as this.

I hope you'll understand that I probably won't be posting much for a while.

I thank you and Toy -- and all the others -- from the bottom of my heart, for your sentiments and condolences. We are online friends, but the emotions are as real as if you all lived down the road from me. THAT is why I came back, Tom. It would appear that I'll be relying on my online "family" a bit more heavily in the future. And I'm OK with that.
