Title: I saw a thing I never saw before
Post by: naleta on November 12, 2010, 07:08:53 PM
I was moving a trailer along the side of the building at about a quarter after 9 and the fog just started pouring over the top of the building. For about a minute there, it was like driving through a tunnel with the building on one side and the fog spreading out on the other.  By the time I parked that trailer and came back for another, it was all fog everywhere. I just happened to be there at the right moment to see the wave of mist. It was amazing!

We see something like that where we now live.  But it is like a river of fog rolling off the ridge down the side of the cliff then across over to the river.  It looks just like a river of fog for about 3 miles then it spreads out both North and South until you can not see the river.  It happens about once a week this time of year for about 6 weeks.

We get what Solar calls "water dogs".  They hand in the trees and move slowly across.  You can look off the back deck and watch it move across the canyon.  Very beautiful to watch.  One moment it is there the next it is gone,
