Finally upgraded my old "regular" phone to an iphone 4. It's been four days and I've already forgotten how I ever lived without it.
I assume that's not a very good sign...

I looked at an iPhone when I needed an upgrade, before this, I was using an old Motorola. I picked a Droid because it was what hubby used and I got a steal on it, I got it on a referb sale through Amazon for $.01. Kinda wishing now that I had picked something else. I like hubby's Droid, but my Incredible is not all it should be, though maybe they just didn't referb it very well.

One cent? I remember a time when cell phones cost that much at the store. Back then, the only game they had was the little pixel snake.

Yup, one cent, but I have to be careful, my internet shuts off randomly, the battery heats up crazy fast, the reception is horrible, and if I don't set it down very gently, it completely shuts down. LOL

ST and I got Iphones for a penny last year, she likes hers, but I never use mine, unless it can make coffee, or put diesel in the truck, it's just another phone.
We just don't have enough connectivity here in the mountains for it to be feasible, but that goes for all cell phones up here.
I just hate being that connected all the time, if someone really has something important to say, they can leave a message on my hardline..

True, the idea that I'm "always available" is a bit unsettling. Sometimes I just don't want to be available, regardless of whether or not I'm actually available.

Doesn't it have an on-off switch?

Yep, I've always felt it's a bad habit to get into, especially when you own a 3 ton truck and someone needs a favor and puts you on the spot because they are too cheap to call a mover, or rent a trailer.
"Hey, call Solar, he's always available" NOT!

I've gotten out of a few unwelcome errands that way.
"Not Sam," who looks rather like an old-fashioned floor mop upside down, has the skinny. Note that Not Sam, perhaps unemployable this side of 7-Eleven, comes off looking good by comparison....
WATCH FOR RACHEL!!!! She is the iPhone GODDESS!!!
What's the Haps- w/Sam Roberts at the iPhone 5 Line in NYC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHwPzVR0a1w#ws)
I felt the same way after I learned my droid...,,spekking style is a bit difficult but its getting easier to do.... Glad you like it...
