Had some lightening, big thunderboomers, hail, and a heavy rain that has tapered off into just a steady light rain. Temperature dropped about fifteen to twenty degrees. Badly needed. Thanks, Lord.

Were supposed to move into Summer in two days, no Spring, just straight into Summer, the upper 70s and low 80s. :'(

Like we say here, at least its a dry heat...Right? ::)
But thats why I'll be complaining about the 80s, with all the rain we've had, it will be so damned oppressive, will feel like 100+ and lousy sticky nights.

SE Texas is not noted for dry heat.

Add to that a couple of my hot flashes and you'll really be cooking.  ;D ;D :-*   But your right I don't mind the heat...me and my hair hate the humidity.  :(

Normally it is mid July before we get this kind of weather. This spring and early summer has been extremely dry and hot.

It didn't help that Momma Shooter and I spent the last 3 days cleaning out my side of the garage so I could get the big truck in and close the door. Finally got 'er done just before the big rain started, so Rocket Shooter's new truck was all snuggy and dry.

LOL I moved from the West side over on the South East side of the state.   November is the average wettest month 1.22" and July is only 0.28"  This month should be about 0.45"  But with the wet G/Warming this year we will hit 1.00+"  The dry farmers love it.   ;D

Only 3 days  :o   I now have three time the garage on the East side as I did on the West side.  My neighbor has two airplane Hangars, so I get to put my 30' 5th wheel inside as needed Summer and Winter.  So that is nice.   ;D

That is what I said; Rocket Shooter's new truck. I have to take him for a ride in it everyday. He has been trying to get me to let him drive it, but I can't afford the insurance I would need. He is certainly smart enough.

BTW, in my house there is myself, aka Shooter. There is Momma Shooter, and there is Rocket Shooter.
