They look so much older than they are when dressed in uniform and standing so straight.
Sharp-looking young officer (if I read army uniforms correctly). The rest of his life lies ahead. May he prosper, always advancing and never retreat, and find happiness in his chosen field.

Just an E-1, possibly E-2. Going to Air Controller School at Fort Rucker. Classes started today.

Have no idea, Quill. Hell, when I was issued uniforms, I was issued one set of OGs left over from WWII and Korea and one set of dress greens. The boots we were issued were still brown and we had to strip them and redye them black.
Just found out that Matthew is finding out hard way about the old adage of the armed services- hurry up and wait. His class has been postponed until the middle of April, which means he will not get leave for his brother's graduation and won't see Reagan before he goes into the Marines. Such is service life.
