I wouldn't have noticed so soon, had it not been for ST waking me up early this morning with a blood curdling Scream.

One flew in the back door during the night, its been warm, so we left it open.

"Just open the front door Honey, and let it out, its more afraid of you, than you are of it."

Her response: "No its not!!! It might fly into my hair!!!"

All I could do was laugh. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I didn't actually scream...I just woke him up loudly.  ;D ;D ;D

All I can think is some old movie as a child scared me about bats flying into a person's hair.  I have yet had one do it but the fear is still there.  :o :o

That was a documentary and bats really do land and lay eggs that burrow into the brain and hatch, only to eat the brain and take over the corpse, leaving behind a mind numbed idiot.

Where do you think libs come from?

Yes, we are all digging the bats and the owls and the hawks, even the coyotes.  The mice on the other hand are a pain in the butt.

Same here, but unfortunately the coyote bring the mt lion.
We lose about 10 pets in the area to coyote, but the lions take on the livestock when they run off the coyote.

But you're right about the mice, my cat gets overwhelmed and gives up, just last year we killed at least 30 mice by trap, it was the worst year ever by 10 fold. :o

No lions around here.  The coyotes are extremely afraid to be seen.  Most folks shoot them on site.  I don't, because I like to kill only what I eat, but I have no problem with other people doing it as long as the conservation department allows it.

Same here Inked, I'm no hunter, but have no problem killing for food.
Hell, I would even poach deer if I had to, around here we view them as rats with antlers. :D

No need to poach around here.  We have an awesome conservation department and you can pretty much buy a deer tag for $17, then fill it, then buy another tag for $5, fill it, buy another for $5 to infinity.  We never kill enough deer according to wildlife biologists.  Between the long bow season and the 2 week firearm season, you can easily fill your deep freeze as long as you can shoot.
