Title: A cookie so simple even I can do it

My grandmother gave this recipe to my mother about 1952 or so. This one is guaranteed to kill your diet.....

Sounds easy and yummy.  (anything with chocolate is yummy.)  This could be gluten free just by changing the graham crackers to a gluten free version.  Thanks for sharing.   :thumbsup:  Toy

It did help that She Who Must Be Obeyed has a marble rolling pin to crush the crackers, though I suppose bachelors could just dump them into a plastic sack and use a hammer. Something high-tech like that.

As for the gluten free stuff: she says she's got a recipe for baking such things. I'll ask.

These harden on the outside and remain chewy for a long time. Trust me. These are positively addicting, and not recommended for people like me with NO self-control.  :wink:

I am thinking of adding them to the Christmas baking day with my girls this years.  We like to have a couple of easy ones mixed in with the harder ones (time consuming) ones we make.  Toy

I would happily take any gluten free recipes.  :biggrin:
