Barr nailed it! I have never seen any statement that was more misunderstood.

QuoteAt the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday, a virtual, online event, Attorney General William Barr said that the "separation of church and state does not mean separation of religion and civics," and added that "militant secularists" had used the "separation" claim to try to "drive religion from the public square."

Quote"How does religion preserve liberty?  In the first place, as our Founders recognized, religion assists in the formation of virtuous citizens who are prepared to exercise liberty responsibly.

Preach! Ive seen so many liberals wrongfully claim that appoiting Amy Barrett as a supreme court justice is against the seperation of church and state just because she is catholic. Seperation of church and state doesnt mean what they think it means

And also, the US has always been a Judea Christian values, where we take the stuff like the Ten Commandments and apply it to law and order and morality.
With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

Yep, and we used to believe in an eye for an eye kind of wild west justice. I'd love to see a return to that mindset, crime would plummet.

I always heard from lefties about having guns would turning life into the wild, wild west. As I can tell from the wild, wild west (movies), the sheriff kept law and order, the townsfolk wanted law and order, the outlaws generally picked and choose what they did (robbing a bank or stagecoach versus busting up a saloon), and townsfolk had a chance to defend themselves.

Separation of Church and State is absolute rejection of rule of law... Has anyone stated where it is? Does the Church visit around with weapons then ask itself, what did the Government think of this activity?

The Baptists made up Separation of Church and State. American Religion is made up, too, they like sounding like the big ones. Look into Baptists and Methodists Tripled and more at the 2nd great awakening of 1840, totally made up, why not unamerican? Like a Baptist is so secure that he Never Ever had to mettle in Worldly affairs at all. They're probably the beginning of the end in American religion as I can't distinguish the unverifiable, uncertifiable, unaccountable, cults, the 1900's groups, the assemblies, nontrinitarians, the mormons, charismatics, pentecostal, jehova witness. Separation of Church and State, who is to notice this Church of Marijuana on the corner.

Meanwhile, that big Red X in Alabama, and its State Pride in a religion to make you Unchurched, you can't attend correctly, the government squeezed out the morality they're being proud of like the Scottish flag, right? And not only is it a national fellowship, or an alliance with Scotland, or the Church of Scotland, its absolutely Religious promotion and liberty in Religion we don't have liberty in. The article likes those familiar words should look into it.

Its simple the Government doesn't get money from the Churches. It doesn't get to promote its viewpoint like most of these nations got the reigns on religion.

the term comes from Jefferson in a letter he wrote. Simple explanation, he did not want a national religion or the government to control the church.

Whats he call about 70 million Catholics in here? Did the Church require a permission slip? ever? They're messing up everything, I've posted, they'll let in Catholics and Orthodox and they stamped out the idea they broke the Church in half in the Reformed?

What is this incoherent? Lets gift Jefferson to Phillipines, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Lithuania, Look! Catholic Church! Before you call that Crusade with the Spanish and Portugues and Teutonic Knights, we observe a Montezuman Separation of Church and State. They let in 70 million catholics we've never had in the United States. They said 'they simply can't allow' Any religion here in the darkness of Slavery, Eisenhower's 1st address. The Presbyterian Church was 7 million people right then, now whatever it is they're trying to do is 2 million, more than that, it used to be the whole Country, Americans, Scots, Dutch, slaves, the Germans mostly in the Reformed School Too, I guess Amish. Well, its way too far that its "Cute" the Pope is applauded down the aisle like the minister of Congress, that would be John Witherspoon the first moderator of the Presbyterian Church in the United States.

Just so you know, Separation of Church and State, rough around the edges, unconstitutional.

Finally you said something! Granted, you're full of shit, but at least you made a qualifying statement.

Govt has no Right to dictate the grounds for worship, so the people, created a document barring govt from interfering.
The people ratified our Republic!

How is that unconstitutional?
