This is coming just a short time after Trudeau banned "assault" weapons. He was able to do this because the people do not get their rights from God, but rather they get their rights from the government. As such, the government can take those rights away. Not to worry said some of the posters here, who needs a assault weapon anyway, all is well and good here is Canada.

It was the Incremental thing, where first you restrict, then you ban sale/transfer, then you ban the sale of certain ammunition, then ban the ammunition, then that particular gun.
After that, they ban all guns, give 30 days to turn in, or be arrested.
