I remember growing up in the Sacto. Valley, where every summer it was hot, 100 plus was the norm, either you stayed out of it, or you enjoyed it.

But now the NWS is getting in on the exploitation of Americans need for fear? "Excessive Heat Warning" NO, It's Called Summer, Assholes!!!

Click the link, this is my forecast for the area.

Oh so true. It is mid July and supposed to be hot. We get these stories every year. I remember way back in 1954 it was a very hot summer. No AC in the south and we still functioned.

No AC here either. we adapted. Didn't stay inside much, as little as possible. When indoors we had water coolers running in the kitchen and fans in other rooms. Come night, we sprayed with Off and went to sleep out side until it cooled off enough to move inside. Wasn't no need to complain, everyone was in the same boat.  Besides, late July/August was a busy time, corn to be pulled, hay to be bailed, cotton to be picked. As Loretta said it best, at night we slept because we was tired.

Cars didn't have AC either, people drove with the windows down, left them down when they parked. I remember seeing all the cars parked at the store with windows down, half the cars would be full of kids while the parents went inside to shop. Nobody worried about people stealing, times were different.

Sick Of Silence

When I was a kid, we used to ride in the back of the pick-up.

With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

Frauditors are a waste of life.

I had no idea it was a federal crime, I always assumed it was a State issue, since Calif started this BS.

How's that even legal? It is the equivalent of riding without a seat belt.
