I have been watching Football for all of my adult life, and look forward to it every year.
Today my team the Vikings are playing the Packers.
The Packers decided to stay in the locker room while the "Black Anthem" along with the National anthem were being played
The Minnesota Vikings silenced the Gjallarhorn they normally sound before kickoff of every home game. In a statement, the team said it did so out of respect for the family of George Floyd, whose death by police in Minneapolis this past spring prompted a national outcry against police brutality and systemic racism.
Members of Floyd's family were at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday as guests of the team.
So my question is, Is it better to stay in the locker room and skip the NA or to get woke and kiss up to the woke culture?
I cant help but wonder if these players realize what a thug George Floyd was? They are supposed to be educated, dont they look into what they are representing by getting woke and basically calling your white fans systemically racist
I am starting to agree with Mark Levin and just stop watching. It will be interesting to see what there ratings will be

Indianapolis Colts coach Frank Reich was the most prominent coach to kneel. In a statement, the Colts said:
"Our intent is to bring attention to the issue of systemic racism and the injustice inherit therein. We also wanted to demonstrate a symbolic gesture of how we believe meaningful change happens. TO BE CLEAR -- we were not protesting the flag, the anthem, or the men and women who wear the uniform. The timing of this action is meant to highlight that the presence, power, and oppression of racism remains inconsistent with the unity and freedoms of what it means to be an American."
I guess Frank Reich and the NFL will decide what it means to be American

I remember, years ago, talking with my friends saying how glad I was that we dont know what political leaning the player had, and it was a good way to escape politics for a few hours every Sunday

Agreed. The NFL is so racist that there are very few other than white people making millions of dollars every year playing a game. Systemic racism rears it's ugly head. I quit watching mainstream pro sports years ago. If I want to see a good game I'll go watch a local high school game when they play and help support the kids there instead.

Dont worry, ppl will still see it. They arent censoring you, dont take it personally.
My best friend is conservative and a trump supporter but his grandma is going crazy so he lives with her now and has no time for politics. However he is hardcore husker and packer football so the cancellactions have hurt him. He still went ahead and watched it cuz its all he has for football.
